Tesla Model Y Standard Accessories: What Fits the Base Model Y and What Doesn't

Which accessories fit the Tesla Model Y Standard?

Buy floor mats, lower-console trays and frunk parts made for the Standard: 3W and SUPER LINER sell Standard mat sets, and Spigen and Tesla make trays for its open console. Armrest trays, cupholder inserts, under-screen trays and trunk bins often fit all trims, so buy ones whose listing names the Standard. Skip roof sunshades and rear-screen protectors, which don’t apply to this trim.

A lot of popular Juniper accessories say "Premium & Performance only" in small print. The Standard has an open center console and a textile roof, and several mat makers sell separate Standard sets. Here's what fits, checked against Tesla's own parts and each listing's fit text on Oct 30, 2026.

Is your car a Standard?

Tesla's configurator now sells this trim simply as Model Y, Rear-Wheel Drive ($36,490) or All-Wheel Drive ($38,490), next to Model Y Premium and Performance. Tesla Shop and Amazon sellers still call it the Model Y Standard. If your 2025-or-later Model Y isn't a Premium, Performance or Model Y L, it's this one. Tesla's feature list for it includes:

  • • Knit textile roof
  • • Open center console
  • • Flat-woven textile and vegan leather seats
  • • Manual-folding second row and side mirrors
  • • 16-inch touchscreen (earlier builds: 15.4-inch)
  • • Wireless phone charging and 3 USB-C ports

What fits, by category

Floor mat sets

Buy Standard-specific

3W’s regular Juniper sets say they don’t fit the 2026 Model Y Standard; 3W and SUPER LINER sell separate Standard sets. Tesla’s own All-Weather Interior Liners fit every 2025+ Model Y except the L.

Lower center console

Buy Standard-specific

The Standard has an open center console. Tesla sells a Standard-only Center Console Tray and Liner, and its Premium and Performance trays don’t fit.

Premium console kits

Doesn’t fit

Kits built for the Premium’s covered console, like SUMK, the 10-piece Foronetry kit and Spigen’s sliding organizer, list Premium and Performance only. JVMA’s listing says it’s not compatible with the Standard.

Armrest bin tray

Check the listing

Spigen’s armrest organizer names the Standard. Buy ones whose listing does.

Under-screen tray

Check the listing

Klutchtech’s listing names the Standard, Premium, Performance and Model Y L.

Cupholder insert

Check the listing

Motrobe’s insert names Standard, Premium and Performance.

Screen protector

Match your screen size

Early Standards have a 15.4-inch screen; Tesla now lists a 16-inch screen. Measure yours or check the listing for your size.

Roof sunshade

Not needed

Tesla lists a knit textile roof on this trim, so there’s no exposed glass to shade.

Rear screen protector

Doesn’t apply

Tesla’s feature list for this trim has no rear screen.

Trunk side bins

Fits

Tesla’s Model Y Trunk Storage Bins fit every 2025+ Model Y except the L, and LUCKEASY’s bins name the Standard.

Frunk mat or tub

Buy Standard-specific

Press reviews describe a simpler, unsealed frunk on the Standard, so buy only frunk parts that name it.

Pedal covers, charging gear

Fits

Pedal covers listed for 2017–2026 Model 3/Y and charging accessories aren’t trim-specific.

Floor mats: buy a Standard set

3W's regular Juniper sets, the ones in my own car, say they don't fit the 2026 Model Y Standard. 3W sells a separate Standard set, and so does SUPER LINER. Tesla's $240 All-Weather Interior Liners are the exception: Tesla lists them for every 2025+ Model Y except the L.

A 9-piece TPE set listed only for the Model Y Juniper Standard, with cargo liners. It’s a new listing without reviews yet.

The open center console

The Premium's covered console with its sliding tray isn't on the Standard; Tesla calls the Standard's an open center console. That rules out the Premium console kits, and Tesla sells its own Standard-only tray ($30) and liner ($40). The armrest bin and cupholders are where cross-trim products work.

I installed this in my Model Y; it adds a tray behind the screen that folds away. Klutchtech’s listing names the Standard, Premium, Performance and Model Y L.

Screen protectors: match your screen size

Standards have shipped with two screen sizes. Earlier cars have a 15.4-inch screen, and Tesla now lists a 16-inch screen for the trim. Measure yours diagonally before buying, and pick a protector that names that size.

Read this first: Tesla advises against screen protectors

Tesla's Model Y owner's manual says: "Do not apply a screen protector on the touchscreen." Tesla says one can cause phantom inputs, slow or missed touches, or an electrostatic discharge that damages the screen, and that damage caused by a screen protector isn't covered by the warranty. If you still want one, weigh that first; a kit with an alignment tray makes a clean install easier. Read Tesla's note →

REEVAA 15.4-inch matte screen protector kit with alignment tray

Screen, 15.4-inch

REEVAA 15.4-inch matte screen protector

TOPFIT aluminum brake and accelerator covers installed in my Model Y

TOPFIT aluminum pedal covers

$23.99 on Amazon (Oct 30, 2026)

I fitted these in about 10 minutes. The listing covers Model 3 and Model Y from 2017 to 2026, so the pedals don’t depend on trim.

Winter on 18-inch wheels

Tesla's 18-inch Aperture + Pirelli Sottozero 3 winter package ($1,895) is listed as not compatible with Premium or Performance, so it's the Standard's. Tesla's manual approves König CG-9 size 105 chains for 18-inch tires, and Tesla's 18"/19" Snow Socks ($95) fit too. See my winter guide →

Tesla's own parts that fit the Standard

Read on Tesla Shop on Oct 30, 2026. Each one either names the Standard or fits every 2025+ Model Y except the L.

Don't buy these for a Standard

  • • Tesla's Premium and Performance Center Console Trays ($40): Tesla lists them for Premium, Performance and Model Y L only.
  • • Premium console kits: SUMK, the 10-piece Foronetry kit and Spigen's sliding console organizer list Premium and Performance only, and JVMA says it's not compatible with the Standard.
  • • 3W's regular Juniper mat sets, which say they don't fit the 2026 Model Y Standard. Buy 3W's Standard set instead.
  • • Roof sunshades: the roof is knit textile on this trim.
  • • Rear-screen protectors: this trim has no rear screen.
  • • Frunk tubs and mats made for the Premium, unless the listing names the Standard.

FAQ

Which accessories fit the Tesla Model Y Standard?

Buy floor mats, lower-console trays and frunk parts made for the Standard: 3W and SUPER LINER sell Standard mat sets, and Spigen and Tesla make trays for its open console. Armrest trays, cupholder inserts, under-screen trays and trunk bins often fit all trims, so buy ones whose listing names the Standard. Skip roof sunshades and rear-screen protectors, which don’t apply to this trim.

Do Model Y Premium floor mats fit the Standard?

Not all of them. 3W says its regular Juniper sets don’t fit the 2026 Model Y Standard and sells a separate Standard set, and SUPER LINER does the same. Tesla’s own All-Weather Interior Liners ($240) fit every 2025+ Model Y except the Model Y L, including the Standard.

Do Premium center console organizers fit the Model Y Standard?

No. The Standard has an open center console. Tesla’s Premium and Performance console trays exclude it, JVMA’s listing says it’s not compatible with the Standard, and the SUMK and 10-piece Foronetry kits list Premium and Performance only. For the Standard, use Tesla’s $30 Standard-only Center Console Tray or Spigen’s lower center storage organizer.

Does the Model Y Standard need a roof sunshade?

No. Tesla’s feature list for this trim shows a knit textile roof, so there’s no exposed glass overhead to shade.

What screen protector fits the Model Y Standard?

It depends on your screen. Early Standards have a 15.4-inch screen, and Tesla now lists a 16-inch screen for the trim. Measure the screen diagonally, then buy a protector that names your size: REEVAA makes a 15.4-inch one for the Standard, and Spigen’s 16-inch kit lists the Model Y Standard 16-inch (2026).
