SUMK 8-Piece Console Organizer in My Model Y Juniper: Hands-On Review
Is the SUMK console organizer worth it?
For a 2025β2026 Model Y Juniper Premium or Performance, yes, if you want the whole console lined in one box. I installed SUMK's 8-piece kit: two divided trays with cable routing, four silicone liners that sit flat with no gaps, a charging-pad cover, and a cup pad that lines only the bottom, so cup space stays the same. This Juniper version doesn't fit the Standard trim or a pre-2025 Model Y; SUMK sells a separate Model Y L Premium size on the same listing.
Ready to buy?
This is the exact 8-piece SUMK set in my photos. It was $35.99 on Amazon when I checked on Oct 30, 2026 (list price $44.99). Juniper Premium and Performance only.
Check the SUMK set on Amazon βI've already tested two console setups in my Juniper, the TTPGEL 10-piece kit and the JVMA two-piece set. SUMK covers ground those two don't: silicone liners for the felt floors of both deep bins, and a cup holder pad that doesn't eat cup space. Both of its trays also have a path for a charging cable. Here's every piece, installed.
Hands-on owner review Β· October 30, 2026 Β· 13 original photos
What's in the box: 8 pieces, every one a fitted part
No under-seat bins or camera covers here. All eight pieces go into the console itself:

Front deep-bin tray
Three compartments, carbon-look lip, cable hole
Armrest tray
One divider, carbon-look edges, cable slot
Two tray mats
Silicone, one inside each tray
Two bottom liners
Silicone, for the felt floors of the front bin and the armrest bin
Cup holder pad
Base-only, covers the bottom of both cup holders
Charging pad cover
Thin silicone sheet over the wireless charging area
SUMK says the trays are PC plastic, which it claims resists summer-heat warping better than ABS, and the liners are liquid silicone. It also backs the set with a 2-year warranty.
The cup pad lines only the bottom, so cup space doesn't shrink
This is the piece I like most, and it's the easiest one to overlook. A lot of cup holder inserts are full sleeves: they line the walls as well as the bottom. That eats a few millimeters all the way around, and with one of those installed some cups and bottles just stop fitting. SUMK's pad sits only on the floor of the two cup holders. The walls stay bare plastic, so anything that fit before still fits.

Wireless charging pad cover: thin, and cut to the exact shape

The silicone cover drops onto the phone-charging area and matches its outline edge to edge. No overhang, no gap at the corners, and the material and finish are well made.
SUMK lists the pad at 0.8 mm (0.03 in) with an SF coating, so it adds almost nothing between the phone and the charger. It's a cover for the charging surface, not a charger of its own.
Armrest tray: tight fit, silicone floor, and a slot for the charging cable
The armrest tray sits at the top of the armrest compartment and splits it into a smaller section and a larger one. It's rigid plastic with carbon-look strips on the two long edges and a silicone anti-slip mat across the floor. The fit in the opening is snug and even all the way around.

The detail that sold me
One side of the tray has a dedicated slot for a charging cable. In my car a USB-C cable comes up through that slot, so I can charge something sitting in the tray without pinching the cable under the tray or leaving it loose.
Front deep-bin tray: same build, three compartments, and a cable hole
The deep bin in front of the cup holders gets its own tray, built the same way: rigid plastic, a carbon-look lip, and a silicone anti-slip mat on the floor. The build quality matches the armrest tray. This one has three compartments, and it also has a cable hole, so the same trick works up front.

Bottom liners: the part other console kits skip
Below the trays, both deep bins have felt floors, and felt holds on to crumbs and dust. SUMK includes a silicone liner for each bin floor: one for the armrest bin and one for the console bin. Both are cut so precisely that they meet the walls with no gap around the edges, and they look well made. SUMK's pitch is that you wipe or rinse the liner instead of cleaning the felt.

SUMK vs my TTPGEL 10-piece kit and JVMA two-piece set
I've now run three console setups in my Juniper. They solve different problems:
| If you want⦠| Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Every console surface lined, including the felt bin floors, with cable routing and full cup space | SUMK 8-piece | Two trays with cable paths, four silicone liners, base-only cup pad, charging-pad cover. |
| Console pieces plus storage beyond the console | TTPGEL 10-piece | Adds two under-seat boxes, a hidden storage box and a camera privacy cover. |
| Just the two deep bins, nothing else | JVMA two-piece | A longer center tray and an armrest tray with integrated silicone lining. |
Pros and cons
Pros
- β’ Cup pad covers only the bottom, so cup space doesn't shrink
- β’ Both trays have a cable path for charging inside the tray
- β’ Silicone liners for the felt floors of both deep bins
- β’ The trays, bin liners and charging-pad cover fit their spots exactly
- β’ Well-made trays, liners and charging-pad cover
- β’ Drop-in install, no tools or adhesive
Cons
- β’ This version is Juniper Premium and Performance only (the Model Y L needs SUMK's separate YL size)
- β’ No under-seat boxes or camera cover, unlike bigger kits
- β’ The carbon-look trim won't suit everyone's taste
Verdict: the most complete console lining I've tested in my Juniper
SUMK doesn't try to pad the piece count. Every part goes somewhere in the console, and every part fits. The three details I'd point any Juniper owner to are the cup pad that keeps full cup space, the cable slot and hole in the two trays, and the bottom liners that keep the felt bins clean.
If you have a Juniper Premium or Performance and want every console surface covered in one box, SUMK does that well. If you also want under-seat storage, look at my TTPGEL review first.

What comes in the SUMK 8-piece console organizer?
Two trays (one for the deep bin in front of the cup holders, one for the top of the armrest compartment), a silicone mat inside each tray, two silicone bottom liners for the felt floors of those two bins, a cup holder pad, and a wireless charging pad cover.
Does the SUMK organizer fit every 2025β2026 Model Y?
No. This version is listed for the Model Y Juniper Premium and Performance only, not the Standard trim or a pre-2025 Model Y. SUMK sells a separate Model Y L Premium size on the same Amazon listing, so pick the size that matches your car.
Does the SUMK cup holder insert make the cup holders smaller?
No. It is a thin pad that sits only on the bottom of the two cup holders. The walls stay bare, so the cup holders keep their full width.
Can I still charge a cable-powered device inside the trays?
Yes. The armrest tray has a cable slot on one side and the front tray has a cable hole, so a charging cable can run up into either tray from below.
Should I buy SUMK or the TTPGEL 10-piece kit?
I have tested both in my Juniper. Pick SUMK if you want liners for the felt bin floors, cable routing in both trays, and a cup pad that keeps full cup space. Pick TTPGEL if you also want its under-seat boxes, hidden storage box and camera cover.
